OUR ROOTS
HISTORY
Morena Café was founded in the heart of Cuenca, Ecuador, in 2022, as the shared dream of two brothers passionate about specialty coffee and deeply committed to highlighting the work of Ecuadorian coffee-producing farms.
Inspired by the intense tones of roasting and extraction, we chose the name Morena as a visual and sensorial tribute to the soul of coffee. But Morena is more than a beverage: it's a tribute to the effort, tradition, and innovation that flourish in our lands.
Since our first steps, we have been guided by a spirit of constant learning, open to change, evolution, and innovation. We want to grow alongside those who are part of this coffee family, from the producer to the person who enjoys each cup.

MORENA CAFÉ'S OBJECTIVE
To become a national benchmark as a specialty coffee roaster from various Ecuadorian farms, working hand in hand with producers who cultivate using excellent processes. Our goal is to highlight the quality of Ecuadorian coffee from its origin, ensuring that each carefully selected bean transforms into a memorable cup experience. Each roast profile is our signature; each coffee, a reflection of its land.
